I have bought this year a dell dual core desktop station. And i'm happy with it until now... only the graphiccard is bad...will upgrade to an ati radeon x1900 soon as possible. Artrage runs quite well and smooth up 3500px drawings...only airbrush & knife are really laggy

DELL DIMENSION 5150:
Intel Pentium D820 2.8Ghz Dualcore
2Gb Ram
160 Gb Harddisk
ati x300 128mB (hypermemory 32 Mb in real..this sucks)

Flatscreens:
Dell 20" widescreen (16:10)
&
HP 1955 19" 4:3

As i said my wish for the future are a better graphic card and bigger screen about 24" or 30"
and of course a wacom cintig (dreaming)

Whether this was what you were asking for, here it is:

Mac G4.

2 gb ram

Wacom grapphire tablet 4x6.

Working paint large for print in ArtRage2, it tends to lag a bit. Still experimetning for max results.

No complaints drawing or working at lesser resolutions like video.

Well, here's a picture for ya.

If his is like a virgin, mine's like an old whore. For Jacktar's benefit, it's like the underside of an old tramp freighter what never seed dry dock nor had a single barnacle scraped.

Past the clutter of coffee mugs and pens, books and disks, wires and cables, years old calendars cause I like the pictures, and scribbled notes of numbers and passwords to websites I only ever visited once, past the dust and cobwebs, there are more than a few notches on my desktop.

I don't bring clients here :D

After 20+ years of working with one sort of PC or another, I'm switching to OS X. I was just waiting for Ambient Design to start testing the universal binary, you see. (Kidding. Happy coincidence.) =)
