View Full Version : Waiting for the Bus

You know, one of those cold early Dec late Nov mornings when the Bus will never arrive soon enough! At least 3 of them look cold to me. I don't know, I never rode a bus to school. I always lived 4 blocks away. :)
I started this one more than 2 years ago, maybe 3 and could never get it done. It used to have 5 figures instead of 4. ArtRage made it a snap to finally finish. The background is crude but I am fine with that.

Neal, this really appeals to me in a Dick and Jane Basic Reader kind of way. Very reminiscent of that style of illustration in my mind. Wonderful. :)

Hahaha. Nobody seems happy about going to school. How weird is that! NOT!

The stories that you create in your paintings are amazing.
Better said, your paintings make us create our own stories while we view them. Another great painting!

Yeah, I think the fifth kid graduated to a different school. Another good reason to not keep your models posing too long. Haha.
Looks interesting. They are leaning like wheat in a breeze, making them feel like part of the environment, and what affects the land affects them.
Cool work! Congrats on finishing it. :):):)
