- If you have ArtRage 2 full edition which features using multiple layers.
- Try to start a new painting of two layers.
- Then try to move the upper layer to be the lower one.
- Repeat this as many times as it could take you .

If you are lucky, after 4 – 6 moves or maybe less you will discover a secret brown cat,
but remember not to release the left button of the mouse, or your cat will disappear.

The question, now, is that:
- How could she or he get there.
- Was it forgotten by someone of those who assembled the software
- Who sentenced that cat an ArtRage life imprisonment.
- Is there any relationship between the attached cat and the linked one –

I had a lot of fun testing this little easter egg =)

He appears randomly but fairly uncommonly. That picture is taken from a photo of him biting Andy's thumb and looking very pleased with himself.

He can also be seen attacking the corner of the About box from time to time ( Help --> About ArtRage 2 )

When trying to reproduce this, on 2 of about 6 successful attempts, I managed to crash Vista while displaying the cat. When it crashed the first time, I tried reproducing it a couple of times.

I know, Vista is a beta, but I thought you might be interested. I was using the latest build -- the one after the public released beta. I have no problems on my normal setup (XP SP2 - same machine, just dual booted).
