Good idea as a ground to work off. Saves you the blank canvas stage. You jump right to stage three or so. (Just making up a timeline in my head out of ten steps.)

Yes, "D" it is.. Comes from a site called "textures".. They have some great backdrops there.. For a still, I will go there or use a gratient composed in photoshop.. Lets me get right to the meat and potatoes that way..
